Join us for a Day of Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. Mindfulness & Self-Compassion are proven ways to reduce stress and improve health, happiness, and well-being.
This day retreat will incorporate practices from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn for UMass Medical School and from Mindful Self-Compassion, developed by Kristen Neff and Chris Germer for UC at San Diego Medical School. The day will include sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful movement, and mindful eating. This is a day of self care, rest, renewal, and healing.
Bring something to share for a vegetarian potluck lunch. Tea and water provided.
