Mindfulness is a scientifically shown to reduce stress, increase focus, and improve health and well-being. Mindfulness works!
This day retreat is modeled after one developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph. D., who developed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course for the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979. The day will include sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful movement, and mindful eating. This is a day of self care.
Lunch is a vegetarian potluck. Tea and water provided.
